Bush Honeysuckle
Diervilla lonicera Mill
An erect, upright shrub usually <0.5 m in height that forms dense, scattered patches. Leaves are opposite with toothed margins and red ribs that often become reddish-purple. The flowers are yellow with a 5- lobed floral tube and occur in pairs. The fruit is a capsule that splits open when mature.
