Meadow Rue
Thalict rum pubescens Pursh.
A stout, erect perennial up to 1.5 m tall adapted to wet or moist habitats. Leaves are compound, 2 or 3 times divided and leaflets occur in 3’s. Leaflets have three terminal notches and hairy undersides . Numerous flowers are arranged on spreading branches. Flowers are unisexual, lack petals, and are white due to the color of the numerous anthers or stamens . Blooms from July to early August.
