Cerasaum fontanum Baumg. ssp. vulgare (Hartm.) Greuter & Burdet
A short-lived, low-growing, trailing perennial covered in coarse hair. Leaves are opposite, oval and both surfaces are covered with hair . Flowers are small with 5 white deeply lobed petals. The fruit is a small, cylindrical capsule that contains reddish brown seeds. Blooms from late spring to late fall.
