Star Flower
Trientalis borealis Rai
A small, delicate perennial 10 to 20 cm tall that spreads by thin rhizomes. It has lance-shaped leaves that are arranged in a single whorl of 5 to 9 below the flower stalks . It has two white terminal flowers that form capsules at maturit . Flowering begins in May and continues till August.
