Tall White Aster
Aster umbellatus P. Mill. A smooth perennial plant up to 2.0 m tall. Leaves are lance-shaped, smooth and alternate. The flowering head is a multi-branched, flat-topped umbel. The flowers are showy. Flowers are compound with 7 to 12 outer ray florets with white ‘petals’ and the center disk florets are yellow. Blooms July to late September
